- Close the container/ wrap the bag that no air is getting in the bag or container. Why? Air is one condition that facilitates bacterial growth on the spaghetti; thus, it spoils too quickly.
- Place the container or bag in the freezer or the fridge. To keep your spaghetti fresh, avid placing it near other foods with an odor in the fridge or freezer.
- If you used a fridge, your spaghetti could only last between 3 to 5 days from the day you prepared it. For the freezer, it will last for about 1 to 2 months and still will be safe for human consumption.
NOTE: conduct this process within the two hours after you prepared your spaghetti.
To reuse your spaghetti, use an oven to heat it if it was stored in a fridge. If it was stored in a freezer, avoid the immediate transfer of frozen spaghetti to the oven. You should first place it in a refrigerator for some hours. While using the oven, cover your dish with aluminum foil for better heat conduction. You can reuse your spaghetti with any other recipe of your choice.
